LactiGo is an exciting new sports product soon to be launched simultaneously in the UK, USA and Canada. It’s use before physical exertion can help to drastically reduce muscle burn and fatigue caused by the build of lactic acid in the muscles.
A referral from an existing happy client resulted in an approach from this company to produce a logo and labelling for their new product. The branding obviously had to look sporty, fresh and dynamic. The solution was to use a palette of blues and a fresh green, along with a bold logotype which was locked up with a ‘running man’ motif . This was underpinned by the product strapline “Get your competitive edge”, but the logo can also stand alone.
Once the brand was established we moved on to creating a label for the gel pump bottle. The client wanted to imply an ‘olympic’ feel so I created a row of circles with various sporting disciplines. Together with a dark blue background and other green elements, the result is dynamic and sporty. An outer box to contain and protect the bottle is currently being designed.
We also created another pack of the gel in the form of handy sachets in a box of 12. The same design was transposed on to the box and the sachets.
The guys at LactiGo were so pleased with the packaging designs that they asked me to create the website as well!
We built a fully responsive WordPress site, that really pushes the features and benefits of their new sports products. Using the same colour palette as the packaging, the site has animated elements and cool parallax effects that are right on trend. The site is e-commerce ready for when they decide to start selling their products directly online.
